1. Mother’s Day Wildflower Hike

Description

The transitional foothills life zone is home to Easter daisies, Nuttall’s violets, Pasque flowers, spring beauties, cacti, and more. Join volunteer naturalists for a moderate 2-mile hike that will take you from grassland to ponderosa pine and mountain mahogany shrubland in search of early bloomers.

2. T9 Mermaid Run Boulder 5k, 10k, Dash

Description

Hosted by Title Nine, this is the 16th edition of T9 Mermaid Run Boulder. It’s a day to run, walk, skip or jog and celebrate with the entire family. After the race stay for the post race party. Mermaids receive a stylish race shirt, finisher medal and necklace!

4. Picnic at Chautauqua Park

Description

A picnic at Chautauqua Park is a fantastic way to spend Mother’s Day. You can pack your own picnic basket or pick up a delectable lunch box from Cured. Its picnic options for two are the $40 “Stolen Hour” and the $55 “Backcountry Picnic.” The Stolen Hour includes 3 different cheese selections, salami, homemade fig jam, crackers, and an artisanal chocolate bar by Poco Dolce.
